Nepal Blacklists 20 Contractors and Suppliers for Procurement Failures
On 7 November, Nepal’s Public Procurement Monitoring Office announced the blacklisting of 20 contractors and supplier companies for failing to fulfil contractual obligations. The debarment periods range from 18 months to two years under the Public Procurement Act. No combined contract value or financial penalty was disclosed. The decision creates opportunities for compliant contractors, procurement advisers and project-monitoring firms. HPC can support tender intelligence, compliance research and supplier due diligence.
